Introduction to the substance and issues of economic geography. Distribution and control of resources, diversity of political / economic systems and international exchange of labor and goods. Prerequisite: ENG 104.

Introduces the evolution and dynamics of global and local economies. Explores regional economic development, geographic strategies of firms, the economics of urban spaces, and the economic factors shaping social and physical environments.
