GEO 240/24A is an introductory course in Geographic Information systems. It is offered every Fall quarter and it fills up quickly, as it is required of students in many academic programs at Cal Poly Pomona.
It is possible to substitute intro GIS courses taken at community colleges for GEO 240/240A, even if you take them after transferring to Cal Poly Pomona. If you cannot enroll in GEO 240/240A you may substitute GEO 10 at Mt San Antonio College, which is frequently offered as a Saturday six week class starting in late October.
If you are enrolled in the GIS interdisciplinary minor you may substitute ENV 215 for GEO 240/240A.
