Fall 2012

  • Our manuscript "A Caffeinated Boost on UV Spectroscopy" was submitted and received "Needs Minor Revisions" after the Peer Review Process from the J. Chem. Ed.! (11/30/12)
  • We are expecting to award 12 NSF S-STEM scholarships. Thanks to everyone who applied we will be sending out award letters at the beginning of Winter quarter (11/25/12)

Summer 2012

  • Cynthia and Dr. Page's Ratio and Proportions (RAP) manuscript was published by National Study of Education in Undergraduate Science (NSEUS)! (8/22/12)
  • Dr Burke and Dr. Page were awarded an NSF S-STEM grant of $600K to support College of Science majors (6/19/12)
  • Luladey and Stacey have joined the Page group (6/13/12)

Spring 2012

  • Dr. Page was accepted to join the Project Kaleidoscope Summer Leadership Institute for STEM Faculty(5/21/12)
  • Page Group was awarded a $15K CSUPERB New Investigator Award! See the list of awardees (5/7/12)
  • Shaun and Kevin are writting their Senior Project Thesis and preparing to graduate! (4/25/12)
  • Ashley (UCONN), Kurt (UCSB), and Youssef (USC) were accepted into summer REU programs (4/25/12)
