Industry Advisory Board

The Cal Poly Pomona MEP Industry Advisory Board was established in March 1985. The Board received its initial impetus for organization from the MEP Director in her efforts to develop and strengthen her relationship and partnerships with engineering and computer science businesses. The energies and resources of the Board are dedicated to the success of students and to influencing policies affecting that success. The Board exists to increase the enrollment, retention, professional development, and graduation of students in the College of Engineering and in Computer Science, through the MEP.

The Board consists of industry representatives from engineering-oriented companies that have exhibited a concern for student success in the College of Engineering and in Computer Science. The Board can be augmented by representatives from pre-college/university administration, faculty and staff reflecting the diverse segments affecting the academic success of the students. These professional organizations have joined forces to support the MEP goal of attracting and retaining students in the College of Engineering and in Computer Science.
