We are an USDA inspected meat plant on the Cal Poly University campus in Pomona. Through the use of many types of equipment, students gain a wide variety of training in meat science.
We work closely with the National Meat Association. Some of our students have been accepted to work during their conventions as interns. This has given a wealth of opportunities to them for future employment. The facility provides research opportunities for both students and industry. Currently the facility operates under the supervision of Dr. Cedric Matsushima (Faculty Supervisor) and Robert Karmann (Plant Manager).
