Our department
offers a flexible major
program which may be adapted to serve a variety of needs and interests. The student may develop elective patterns which will prepare him/her for entry into employment in industry, government, and teaching. We have undergraduate programs in secondary teaching, pure mathematics, applied mathematics, and statistics. Emphases on graduate programs are in pure mathematics, applied mathematics, and statistics. We have more than 160 undergraduate and 70 graduate math majors and we are serving over 4,000 students each quarter, including more than 300 students enrolled in mathematics courses for pre-credential teachers.
