In this class, students will gain the basic understanding of cartographic communication principles and processes, and obtain basic skills of designing and making printed, digital, and web based maps with Geographic Information Systems.

Prerequisites: GEO240 (Introduction to GIS) or equivalent

The class will use Blackboard to post material, conduct online discussion, submit assignments, and take tests.
