University Writing Center (UWC)
What can the University Writing Center do for me?
Students of any major or year in school may come in to get help with any writing related assignment. This includes help with editing and revising papers of all kinds, including:
- Research papers
- Thesis projects
- Homework assignments
- Book reviews
- Essays
- Memos
- Application essays and letters
The UWC also specializes in helping students prepare for the GWT. Workshops and GWT advice are provided by trained GWT consultants. Additional information regarding GWT services, including the GWT Waiver process and CPU 401 (GWT class) is also available through the UWC.
The UWC operates on an appointment basis with occasional room for walk-ins. To ensure you receive a time slot, please make an appointment by phone or in person well before your assignment is due.
