Free Reading Tutorials
Upon acceptance to the program, the College Reading Skills staff will design an individualized program of instruction tailored to your specific needs. As a student in the program, you will be paired with a peer tutor who will work with you to develop your college-level reading comprehension, vocabulary and reading rate skills. With your peer tutor, you will work on a variety of materials including advanced computer software applications and traditional books and materials. We also provide tutoring for students preparing to take the CBEST, GRE, GMAT, MCAT and other tests required for graduate school admission.

Students attend regular weekly or bi-weekly tutorial sessions. Students are scheduled on a first-come, first-serve basis. We recommend that students schedule their sessions the first week of the quarter. Each session is 50 minutes in length.
