The Learning Resource Center
Welcome to the Learning Resource Center (LRC) at Cal Poly Pomona!
Located on the second floor of the University Library (Building 15) in Rooms 2919 and 2921, the LRC is the university’s most comprehensive tutoring service, promoting the development of students’ critical thinking, problem solving and analytical skills through tutoring, workshops, test preparation, and study skills development. The LRC's programs are Bronco Tutoring (formerly ASI Tutoring and MaSH), Reading, Advising, & Mentoring Program (RAMP) (formerly CRSP), and University Writing Center (UWC).
Appointment and drop-in tutoring are available in University-wide courses beginning Week 2 of the quarter through Finals Week.Appointment Scheduling
Currently enrolled students are invited to visit the LRC to register in the Accudemia scheduling system. Once registered, students can access Accudemia online where they can schedule appointments, check for drop-in availability, track tutoring activity, respond to surveys, and personalize their profile with a photo.
After registration, students may utilize the LRC's walk-in tutoring services and schedule one-on-one appointments with Bronco tutors for courses in Math, Science, Engineering, Business, Social Sciences, Liberal Arts, and other non-STEM courses; RAMP tutors for reading and study skill assistance; and, UWC tutors for writing assistance.
