Policy on Accessibility

If you are a students with special needs that require accommodation, please inform the instructor as soon as possible.

Grading Policy:

  • No examinations.
Grade is earned through team and individual performance. Most course points depend on group work.
  • Set expectations about team behavior: develop and follow team norms of behavior -- it's hard to manage your peers unless everyone agrees to contribute to the project.
  • Free riding will not be tolerated.  Teams may divorce members who do not meet their obligations (1) if the entire team agrees to the action, (2) the team leader notifies the free rider of the action pending and gives the free rider a chance to remedy the situation, (3) the free rider still fails to meet obligations.  Any student divorced by his or her team will receive a grade of "F" for the course.
  • Customers grade your work -- it's important that they know who you are and what you are contributing to the project. That means everyone needs to speak up at meetings.
