3:05 PM Overview of Projects by Instructor
- Monday, April
7, 1-4 PM: , Project customers present their projects
& negotiate with students to put together a team for their project
- Please contact customers by email or phone with
questions before Monday
- After
presentations & during lulls, customers will meet informally with students to
answer questions about their projects and negotiate for a team.
- Bring your resumes and try to impress the customers.
- Once your team and a customer make a match, the
project is yours. You can begin working right away.
3:20 PM Self-introduction by Students: Stand
up in front of the class and state: 1 minute each -

- Contact any customers for projects that interest
you.
- Be present at 1 PM on Monday to hear customers pitch
their projects
- Bring resumes, form teams around project that
interests you
- Requirements
for Report 0, due by 6 PM, Monday -- place inside folder with clear
cover and slide under office door (CLA 3-21) or give to me in classroom
before 4 PM
- List members of team
- Each
student enrolled in class MUST be a member of a team by 4 PM on Monday
- Contract signed by ALL team
members agreeing to 10 meeting hours dedicated for project work per week outside of class, by day and hour
= Statement of commitment that team members will meet with the team when
the team meets
- Send me an email with team members contact
information by 10 PM on Monday, April 7.
- Get your team a team email address on site such as
Yahoo Groups or Google Groups so all email goes to all team members, and provide
email address for correspondence with your team. Add customer & instructor to group
so we can send email to team.
- Ask customer to email or give your names to me, and
you can start work immediately on project.

- JAD 1 usually held on customer site during second
week of quarter to get initial requirements for project -- check schedule to see if time you want is
open.
- Contact customer & instructor about times for JAD 1 (allow driving time for me if
customer is off campus)
