Use the Library Catalog to find books and other materials in the Library. In addition to books, all of the Library's journals, newspapers, recordings, reports, software, and any other holdings are in the Library Catalog. Electronic journals and electronic books are also cataloged and the Library Catalog has links to the electronic materials.
Do not use the Library Catalog if you want to search for journal articles. Use the databases described below to search for journal articles.

Applied Science Full Text (WilsonWeb)
Provides access to over 450 English language engineering and science journals, 1983 to present. The database includes full text articles from about 20% of the journals. Excellent coverage of civil engineering and related disciplines.
Compendex (Engineering Village)
From Engineering Information. Indexes over 2600 journals published worldwide in all engineering disciplines; also covers conference papers, reports, and publications of engineering societies. 1969 to present.
ASCE Publications
Provides access to the complete contents of the research journals from the American Society of Civil Engineers. Look for links to the free CE Database where you can search the contents of all ASCE publications, 1970 to present.
GeoRef
Indexes journals, reports, dissertations, and other publications in the geosciences. This is an excellent source for information on earthquakes, seismicity, water, soils, and related topics.
