Use the Library Catalog to find books and other materials in the Library. In addition to books, all of the Library's journals, newspapers, recordings, reports, software, and any other holdings are in the Library Catalog. Electronic journals and electronic books are also cataloged and the Library Catalog has links to the electronic materials.
Do not use the Library Catalog if you want to search for journal articles. Use the databases described below to search for journal articles.

Applied Science Full Text (WilsonWeb)
Provides access to over 450 English language engineering and science journals, 1983 to present. The database includes full text articles from about 20% of the journals. Excellent coverage of civil engineering and related disciplines.
Compendex (Engineering Village)
From Engineering Information. Indexes over 2600 journals published worldwide in all engineering disciplines; also covers conference papers, reports, and publications of engineering societies. 1969 to present.
AIAA Electronic Library
We don't subscribe, but you can search the database that includes more than four decades of papers and journal articles from AIAA. You will only be able to get the articles from our subscribed journals. Use Document Delivery to request other papers and articles.

Technical reports are important sources of aerospace research and information. Most technical reports are published by government agencies and many are freely available on the web.
NASA Technical Report Server (NTRS)
Free access to NASA and NACA reports. Use Document Delivery to request reports not available here.

Published by AIAA; covers technologies, business, and policy trends. The website provides free access to some of the journal content.
Aerospace Engineering, TL671.2 S314 (Periodicals, 3rd floor)
Published by Society of Automotive Engineers. SAE members can access the content online; non-members can read selected articles from the current issue.
AIAA publishes several research journals and the Library subscribes to most of them.
NASA Tech Briefs
"Engineering Solutions for Design & Manufacturing." This publication provides summaries of research completed under NASA contracts.
