Congressional Digest JK1 .C65 (located on 4 th floor)
Each monthly issue is devoted to an analysis of one current issue facing Congress-featuring sections on background, recent actions and statistics. Pros and cons are then given an equal number of "debaters" (four to six) who are involved with the problem. Indexed by the Readers' Guide to Periodical Literature and WilsonWeb.
CQ Library (Congressional Quarterly): WEB - Databases
CQ Library provides access to the full-text of two of Congressional Quarterly's premier databases, the CQ Weekly Report and the CQ Researcher. Through the CQ Library database patrons may search the current issues, as well as the archive for either publication. CQ Weekly is a great resource for information on Congress. CQ Researcher is a good place to start for research on current topics. These two titles are also available in paper format :

Each report treats a subject that is in the news or likely to be in the news in the near future. Each report typically begins by discussing the importance of the subject and the major issues, followed by an in-depth examination of background and historical developments. The report concludes with a discussion of possible and likely future developments.
