WorldCat contains millions of titles cataloged by libraries worldwide. Use it to find books, scores, recordings, videos, DVDs, journals, newspapers, software, etc. that our library does not own. Connect to the WorldCat database from the DATABASES web page.
When you are in WorldCat, choose the ADVANCED Search option. This will allow you to specify whether you are looking for a score or recording, and allow you more specific ways to search for names, titles, contents notes, instruments, and languages.

Since your WorldCat search may result in hundreds or thousands of retrieved titles, it is useful to LIMIT your music searches by one or more of the following categories:
Tabs at the top of the retrieval page also sort results by type. Once you follow the links to an individual entry, click the link in the "Availability" section called "Search the Catalog at Cal Poly Pomona Library". If it does not connect to the music you need, then click the "Search LINK+" button at the top of the page. If LINK+ does not have what you need, try using DOCUMENT DELIVERY which is free to Cal Poly students, staff and faculty who are registered with the Library.
Because some libraries will not lend their music recordings through document delivery, consult Borrowing Music Materials From Other Libraries for ideas on how to get the music recordings, videos and DVDs you need when our library does not own the title you are seeking.
