Use the databases listed below to find journal articles about music topics.  To access databases from off campus using an Internet Service Provider, you will be asked for your name, Bronco ID Number, and Library PIN.

Music Databases:

• Music Index - (1974 - ) citations to articles in over 850 international music periodicals.
• Music JSTOR - full-text back issues (most with 3-5 year moving wall) of scholarly journals in many subjects, including over 56 music journals.

General Databases:

• Academic Search Elite (EBSCO) [put check mark by database then click "Continue"] - includes some full-text
• Humanities International Index (EBSCO) [put check mark by database then click "Continue"]
• ERIC - use for topics in the field of music education
• OmniFile Full Text Mega (Wilson) - [put check mark by database then type in search window]
• ProQuest Newspapers - 500 US and international newspapers, including LA Times

PRINT MUSIC JOURNALS are on the south side of the 3rd floor, behind the elevators.
Most print music journals are found in the "M" classification section.

Some back issues of music journals are also on microforms shelved on the 2nd floor near the Reserve/Media Desk. Use the Online Catalog to check for titles and holdings.
