The Wine Industry Collection includes hundreds of volumes and many linear feet of archival materials and artifacts. Information is collected on California wine and viticulture, with emphasis on Southern California, but the scope of the collection is also worldwide. There is information on wine competitions and organizations, and wine and grape festivals. Family histories of grape growers, vintners, and vineyard and winery laborers are also collected. Geographic areas given in-depth treatment include Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino, San Diego, Santa Barbara, and Ventura Counties. Information may be in a variety of formats:
