Robert C. Kramer (President, Cal Poly Pomona 1967-1977) |

A nationally known agricultural economist out of Michigan State University, he arrived at the Kellogg-Voorhis campus in 1965 as vice president. Robert C. Kramer was the first President of this campus after it became an independent college in 1966.
Until 1966, this University was a branch of Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo. When it became a separate campus, it was then called the California State Polytechnic College, Kellogg-Voorhis.
