 Julian A. McPhee (President - Cal Poly, 1933-1966)
Julian A. McPhee is known as the father of the California State Polytechnic University system. His ability as an organizer was demonstrated by the institution's growth and maturation under his leadership.

Until 1966, this University was a branch of Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo. Julian McPhee was president of Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo and had responsibility for the Pomona (Kellogg) and San Dimas  (Voorhis) campuses.
