
No. 5977 - Workers shoveling grapes from the gondola
cars, with the train tracks, crusher and fermenting room also visible.
The gondolas wouldn't empty completely, so the grapes needed to be
taken out with a fork and placed on the conveyor. The conveyor would
take the grapes up to the crusher, and then from the crusher they
would finally be pumped to the fermenting room. |
