Frequently Asked Questions

Why should I participate in the Project?

Initial project partners become Charter Members of the Repository. They will receive individual training and support for making and managing contributions. They receive first notification as new services are developed and help creating customized projects.

Why should I contribute to the Repository?

You should contribute to the repository to receive the benefits of faster and better management and distribution of your digital scholarship.

Do I keep the rights to my contributions?

Yes. Absolutely.

What can I contribute?

Anything you deem significant. Pre-prints, technical or white papers, conference presentations, Masters theses/projects, and learning objects are but a few examples of the types of contributions you might might. The repository accepts common MIME formats

How do I make a contribution?

Have the Digital Repository Librarian create an account for you in the Repository. Go to the Repository's web-based interface at http://symposia.library.csupomona.edu/. Scroll to the bottom of the page. Click on "Submit to the Repository," log-in and fill out the appropriate online forms.

What policies govern the Repository?

All contributors must ensure that the creators of any content they are contributing agree with the item deposit license which gives the Library permission to manage the item. Creators keep their copyright. Additional polices will be created as needed in consultation with communities and campus stakeholders.
