A "community" in the Cal Poly Pomona Institutional Repository is a group of people linked via common interests. Colleges, Schools, Departments, Centers, Institutes, and Programs are just a few examples of possible communities that could be created for the Cal Poly Pomona Institutional Repository. A list of research centers which may serve as a guide to established communities on campus is available at http://www.csupomona.edu/ctr_inst_prog_index.php.
Each community must be able to assign a coordinator who can work with Library staff. Groups wishing to establish a community that do not fall into this definition will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
The community determines the process by which content is selected for the repository. Each community may have an unlimited number of collections.
