Effective Monday, September 10, 2007, the floor numbering designation in the University Library will change. The new floor designation will be as follows:
The current ground floor will be changed to 1st Floor
The current 1st floor (Bridge Entrance) will be changed to 2nd Floor
The current 2nd floor will be changed to 3rd Floor
The current 3rd floor will be changed to 4th Floor
The current 4th floor will be changed to 5th Floor
The current 5th floor and the last floor of the University Library will be changed to 6th Floor
To aid our patrons in the transition, the floor designations on all the directories on each floor will have been revised to reflect the new changes. In addition, the numbered buttons in each of the elevator cabs will have been replaced to reflect the new floor designations. The University Library’s online catalog will also reflect the new floor designations.
Also, effective Monday, September 10, 2007, the University Library’s entrance will be on the northeast side of the building. Patrons will be able to walk alongside the driveway that divides the University Library and Building 13. For further information please refer to http://polycentric.csupomona.edu/news.asp?id=1719
