National Information Service for Earthquake Engineering (NISEE)
Provides access to research in earthquake engineering, including images, reports, software, Earthquake Engineering Abstracts (abstracts of 95,000 papers on earthquake engineering since 1971), Selected Papers in Earthquake Engineering, Introduction to Earthquake Engineering.

California Air Resources Board

California Department of Water Resources

California Geological Survey (formerly Division of Mines and Geology)
Geological information, maps of seismic hazard zones, State Mining & Geology Board, tables of contents and selected articles from California Geology magazine.

Caltrans
Information about the California Department of Transportation, the agency's construction projects and research activities. Also: seismic retrofit, information for contractors, highway conditions, fact sheets, history, photos, links to Caltrans district offices for local information, and more. Department of Transportation (DOT)
The US government agency responsible for all aspects of transportation.

Environmental Protection Agency (EPA)
Links to regulations, publications, data and software, research programs, consumer information, local and regional offices.

South Coast Air Quality Management District
The smog control agency for all or portions of Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, and San Bernardino Counties.
