To find articles on a particular subject, search one or more of the databases on our Databases Page. You can get to it via the Library Home Page. |

Once at the databases page: if you need guidance in choosing a database, click on the pulldown and choose a broad subject category. If you know the name of the database, then click on the first letter of its name in the alphabetical listing. |

After you do a search in the database, look at the results screen from a database search very carefully. Full Text icons and notations are very important. If there is any full text icon or notation (as in number 23) near an item you want, click on that to get a copy of the article that you can read right on the screen.
If there is no full text icon or notation (as is the case for number 24) click on the "Find it!" button.

You will then get an SFX services screen; first look for indications that there is full text. If you use this option, full text may be one click or many clicks away.
If there are no indications of full text, then click on check for holdings in the Library Catalog - you wil then get an automatic search for that title in the Library catalog. If we have the title in the catalog, you may find link to an electronic version there or you have to use hard copies of items here in the building.
