| Look in the Library Catalog to find books owned by the Library. You can get to it via the Library Home Page. |
| |
| You can search by Keyword, Author, Title, Subject and Call Number. |
| |
| Here we are about to do a title search. Note that we leave the pulldown at "Search Entire Collection" when we are searching for books. |
| |
| A results screen for a book has three important areas: Location, Call Number, and Status. |
| |
| First check the Status area; if a date appears there, the book is checked out. You can click on the Request Button (towards the top of the page) to place a hold on the book (you will be put on a waiting list for the book). You will be notified to come in and pick up the book at
the fourth floor Circulation/Reserve Desk. |
| |
| If the book is not checked out, then note the location (floor) of the item and its call number and go to that floor to look for the book. More on finding a book on the shelf. |
| |
| If we do not have the book in the catalog, you can request a copy of the book be borrowed for you via the services available from the Get Materials Not At Our Library page. |
