Volunteer Opportunities

Friends can assist the Cal Poly Pomona Library with contributions of their time, knowledge, skills, and energy. We have several ongoing volunteer opportunities. We hope to hear from you soon.

Library Docent Program

Library docents staff the Concierge (Information) Desk in the Library’s entry lobby. Docents have the opportunity to interact with a wide range of students, faculty, staff, and visitors and to learn more about our wonderful campus. With additional docents we could increase our hours of service.

Library Used Bookshop

The Cal Poly University Library is recruiting volunteers to work in our Used Bookshop. We need people like you to donate your time and energy to help make this project a success.

Special Collections

Would you enjoy helping us with exhibits, oral history interviews, accessioning and processing collections, photograph identification and indexing, or archival preservation projects? If you would like to contribute in any of the above ways, you can volunteer to work in Special Collections.
