Also, we have a guide to creating Effective Library Assignments. Your students can also use our Help Pages for help with particular situations. |

| Collection Management |
Our Collection Management Team (under the direction of our Dean) is responsible for choosing material to put in our collection. If you want to recommend items for purchase, use our online Suggestion for Purchase form, or you may consult directly with your department’s subject specialist librarian. Most book purchase requests will be honored, but requests for new journals, serials, or databases have to be carefully evaluated. Books are usually ready for use within 30 days of request. If you are requesting a book for Reserve or need the book by a certain date, please notify us when you request the book and it will be treated as a rush order. Please be aware that we do not have funds year round for the purchase of materials. There is a list of new books received in the library. |

We encourage faculty
participation in the open access
