The web version of SciFinder (used to search Chemical Abstracts Service -- CAS) works from on- and off-campus and allows you to create search alerts and saved searches. SciFinder contains references from over 9,500 currently published journals dating as far back as 1907. CAS also includes patent information from more than 50 active patent issuing authorities. CAS includes the CAS Registry which can be searched by CAS Registry number, chemical name, molecular formula and by structure drawing. Find more information about CAS content here: SciFinder for Academics and our Scifinder Web Edition Guide.
Please note that the old SciFinder Scholar software we had installed in the library is no longer available.
