AOL users should login to the Internet through AOL, then minimize their AOL window and bring up Netscape or Internet Explorer to view or print electronic reserve material.
Some electronic reserve images are PDF file documents, you will need Adobe Acrobat Reader to view and print them. if you do not have it installed on your PC or MAC already, you may download the Acrobat Reader and install it for free.
Netscape & Internet Explorer for the MAC does not include the JAVA support required to enable the printing of documents and images. Users can save images to the PC’s hard disk and then print the image using a graphic application that supports TIFF images.
If you are prompted with a security warning to install and run C:\TEMP\JVMD.tmp, Click yes. This is Critical, if you do not see this or if you do not click on yes, then E-reserves may not work. If this window does not come up, and you are subsequently unable to access more than one page of your e-reserve document, you may need to lower your security settings to medium. If this window still does not come up, please call (909) 869-4212 for help. If your security settings are already set to low, the E-reserves may work properly even though no window comes up.
