Tailored Research Guides
Librarians are available to collaborate with you in constructing guides and tutorials to meet the research needs of your students. Guides often include lists of relevant resources, such as books, periodicals, indexes, databases, and websites, while tutorials tend to focus on the research process. Please contact your Subject Librarian to have a webpage customized for your course.
Librarians are also available to work with faculty on a variety of other teaching and learning projects, such as:
- designing or revising library research assignments to ensure that they are up-to-date and aligned with current library resources.
- integrating instruction in research skills and other information literacy competencies into courses and programs.
- embedding librarians into Blackboard courses to offer virtual research office hours or to monitor research threads and questions on the discussion board.
