1. How do I print?
Hit print on any public computer in the library and a dialogue box will pop up and prompt you for a description and password. Both are optional but a description is recommended. You will then proceed to the nearest print station, locate your print job, select it by clicking on the checkbox, and from this point you can either pay with cash or use a print card to print your document. Press the print button and you will then be prompted to enter a password. If no password was used, leave blank and press print.
2. Where can I buy a print card?
There are 2 print card dispensers in the library. There’s one on the 4th floor print station and there’s another on the 2nd floor print station near the Tech Help desk. The card costs 50¢ and each card contains 50¢. One of the benefits of printing with a print card is that it’ll costs 10¢ whereas printing with cash is 15¢. Value can also be added to the print card.
3. How do I add money to my print card?
Go to any print station with both a card reader and bill acceptor and insert your card. Next insert the amount you would like to add into the bill acceptor. After doing so, click on the “Transfer money to card” tab on the computer screen and verify the amount. Hit Ok and a pop up will ask if you would like to authorize this transaction. Hit Ok once more and the value will be added to the card.

4. Where can I get change?
We do not supply change here in the library. You’ll need to get change elsewhere on campus.
5. Can I use a print card from the other labs?
No.
6. Can I use my credit/debit card to print?
No.
7. Are there any printers that print in color here in the library?
No. Bronco Copy and Mail in the student center allows printing in color.
8. I printed something on the 6th floor. Where does my print job go?
All the computers in the library are networked and your print job will show up in any of the printers.
9. Where are the scanners/copiers?
Scanners are located against the wall in the Productivity Center on computers PC-37 through PC-41. Copiers are located on floor 2, 3, 4.
10. Where are the computers located?
1st floor – 24hr Lab with 78 computers
2nd floor – Learning Commons and Productivity center with 89 computers
4th floor – Lab with 23 computers
5th floor – Lab with 27 computers
6th floor – Lab with 23 computers
Also 16 Quick Lookup stations that are scattered on floors 2, 3 & 4.
11. Which computers do not require a login?
Any of the Quick Lookup stations do not require a login.
12. What’s my bronco name/password?
Same as your bronco e-mail name and password.
13. I am a former student and my bronco ID does not work. How can I log in?
You can request for a new bronco ID from the campus helpdesk. You can use any campus phone and dial their extension which is x6776.
14. I am a new student and my account is not yet activated. What do I do?
You would need to first claim your account. Click on this link to claim your account:

15. The USB slot on the monitor does not recognize my flash drive. What do I do?
Use the USB slot on the front side of the computer itself. It should be either above or below the power button.
16. How can I set up my laptop to access the wireless connection?

17. I can’t locate my saved document. Where is it saved to?
If you opened up your document from your email or the web, and you saved without specifying the location, chances are it is saved to a temp folder. You should always hit “save as” and specify a location.
18. Where is the stapler/hole puncher?
They are on the desks of either Tech Help desk or Circulation desk.
19. Where is the lost and found?
Any items found will be turned in to the front desk circulation.
20. My CD won’t run on this computer. How do I view the contents inside?
If the CD requires to be installed to view the content, then you will not be able to view it in the library. These computers restrict installing any software for security reasons.
21. Is it possible to burn a CD on these computers?
Any computer with a burner and burning software such as Roxio Creator will allow you to burn.
