Subject Librarians

What is a Subject Librarian?

Each college and/or department has a librarian who can help students, faculty, and staff with their research needs.

Subject Librarians are also responsible for selecting library materials for the collection in their area (collection development), evaluating or assessing the collection, providing customized classroom and individual instruction, providing subject-specific research assistance, and promoting information literacy.

If you know who your subject librarian is, you can also look them up by name.
