The floor plan and the accompanying text are designed to give you a quick overview of the location and purpose of service points and key library collection.

The fourth floor houses circulating books with call numbers Q-V and provides several areas for quiet study. Books are checked out at the Circulation Desk on the fourth floor. Oversized books are shelved on the bottom shelf within their call number areas.

CIRCULATION SERVICES - Provides access to materials and information for your research and education needs. This includes items owned by Cal Poly Pomona, as well as those things we request from other libraries.

Check out materials using your current Cal Poly Pomona ID card. Return books here or use the Book Return receptacle on the wall outside the library entrance when the Library is closed. A book return bin is also located across from the Visitor Information Center on Kellogg Drive.

Reserve materials are checked out from the Circulation Desk.  These material must be returned to the Circulation Desk.

SELF CHECKOUT - Instead of waiting in line, you may check out books yourself at the "self check out" station using your current Cal Poly Pomona ID card & the Library PIN/Password. You may create your PIN/Password remotely.

SPECIAL COLLECTIONS / UNIVERSITY ARCHIVES - Includes our collection of rare books, and materials which cover history and related historical information of the local area and Cal Poly Pomona.

DOCUMENT DELIVERY - Request books and photocopies of articles which are not available in the Cal Poly Pomona Library. Allow 2-3 working days to receive requested photocopies (for 75% of requests), and 7-10 working days for requested books. (Please go to the Circulation Desk for Document Delivery pickup and return.)

PERIODICAL SHELVES - Houses bound periodicals and current issues in paper format. Journals are arranged in call number order.

RESEARCH WORKSTATIONS - Intended for research in the library catalog and over 100 online databases. These workstations also have Microsoft Office and are connected to a networked printer.

STUDY AREAS - Designed to suit a variety of study needs, these areas include individual study carrels as well as study tables.

SORTING AREA - Where recently used books and periodicals are temporarily housed before reshelving.
