There are areas within the Library on the first, second, third, and fourth floors, particularly on the southeast corner of the building that have been sealed off from the public with yellow caution tape. It is imperative that no one goes in these areas. These areas are designated for the construction to take place where the new addition will meet the existing building. Also, the ground floor is sealed off from the public since this area will also be part of the construction/renovation. As of Monday, June 27, 2005 the second floor will also be closed to the public.
The various tenants of the LIbrary building (building 15) have relocated as follows:
Disability Resource Center has moved to:
Building 9, Room 103 x3333
Judicial Affairs has moved to:
Building 26, Room 110 (horse stables) x4270
Learning Resource Center has moved to:
Building 13, Rooms B, C, D (portable units behind by the library & parking lot C) x3502
Writing Center has moved to:
Building 1, Room 220 x5343
In preparation for the Next Chapter construction, the Library is vacating areas to allow for the connection of new and existing buildings. Materials in these areas are either boxed away in storage or moved to different locations. The following are the latest call number locations:
