French Accents

• To type: Mac: This is how you type the characters on a Macintosh. A hyphen indicates that you press these keys simultaneously. A "+" sign means that you should release, then press the keys indicated. You can also use the "Key Caps" program (found in the Apple menu).

• To type: Windows: This is how you type the characters on a Windows machine. Hold down the Alt key, then type the numbers on the numeric keypad. You can also use the "Character Map" program (found in Programs... Accessories from the Start menu).
