Stories of Successful Learning

Welcome to the 2nd Annual Stories of Successful Learning at Cal Poly Pomona!

All Cal Poly Pomona faculty, staff, and students are cordially invited to attend and to present their work!

When:    February 26, 2009, 11:00 am — 2:00 pm
Where:   Ursa Major, at the Bronco Student Center
Who:      All Cal Poly Pomona faculty, staff, and students
Why:      Share ideas about student learning
How:       Primarily by poster presentations

We're displaying and celebrating the range of ways that members of the campus community contribute to Cal Poly Pomona's mission as a learning-centered university.

  • Examples of student learning in classes of all kinds
  • Examples of student learning through extracurricular activities
  • Examples of student learning through disciplinary research
  • Examples of student learning through institutional outcomes assessment and research
  • Examples of student learning through any activities you do at Cal Poly Pomona

In other words, whatever you as a student, or your students, have learned through your work, your classes, or your experiences at Cal Poly Pomona, we want to know about it!

See some examples from the 2008 Stories of Successful Learning Conference.

All students, faculty, and staff are invited to submit stories.   Please submit your story by January 23, 2009.

Submit your idea here.
