Dr. Brown is on leave from the
Department while serving as Director of the Lyle Center, but regularly
teaches two courses taken by many landscape architecture students: Methods
and Applications in Regenerative Studies (RS 540) and Ecological Patterns
and Processes (RS 465). He is currently engaged in the following research
initiatives:

Dr. Brown serves as Co-Chair for the President's Climate Commitment Task Force at Cal Poly Pomona, and has worked with colleagues and students on
the development of the campus climate action plan. He received a Bachelor
in Landscape Architecture from the University of Minnesota, a Master of
Landscape Architecture and Ph.D. in Regional Planning from the University
of Massachusetts. | |
