Call For Software

As my staff prepare the classrooms and labs for the start of Fall quarter, I wanted to solicit your software requirements. Please take a look at the three software lists linked in the right column of this page and send your feedback to me and/or Benson Dang (bydang@csupomona.edu). If you could get your new software requirements to us as soon as possible it will help us to get the labs ready in time for the start of the quarter. We've recently updated our inventory of the software in all of our learning spaces, including the I&IT Computing Commons and the I&IT TELS smart classrooms so that you can now find all software-related information in one place.

Migration Instructions

So your mail has been migrated to the campus Exchange server, now what?

Exchange 2003 has a very much improved Web Access module. You may be content to do away with Outlook when out of the office and use Internet Explorer instead. Avoid using Firefox for this particular page because many of the enhanced features are IE dependent. To view your mail, simply visit http://exchange.csupomona.edu and enter your bronco name and password.

If you would prefer to continue using the VPN and Outlook from home, please follow the instructions in this word document to reconfigure your Outlook account settings to point to the new server.

As always, give us a call at x2356 if you have any problems!
