2009-2010 Statement

Khmer American Student Organization, (KASO), pronounced “ kay-so ” is a student organization at California Polytechnic University, Pomona. Although it is a Khmer cultured organization, it is open to everyone who is interested.

Our goal is to promote awareness about the Cambodian culture, increase community involvement, and provide students with a network of resources for social as well as academic needs.

KASO’s motto is “Discover. Share. Preserve.” Our organization exists as a resource for those who would like to learn more about Cambodian culture.

Our upcoming event is a movie night! We will be watching a DVD movie called, "New Year Baby" at one of our member's house in Chino Hills! So come out and meet other members from the club, and watch this really cool movie with us~!
