There are no formal assignments outside of the typical lecture attendance and examinations. However, students can engage in three extra credit assignments. These extra credit assignments are just that--extra. These assignments are not required. If students were to engage in these assignments, the points accumulated will be added to the total points accumulated on performances on the three exams in the course. The assignments are to read and summarize one journal article per extra credit. Each summary will count as three points added to the final point total. Therefore, one may receive zero, three, six, or nine extra credit poins added to one's final total. No partial credit will be awarded. You can also donate blood or donate an hour's worth of time towards the campus blood drive (but not both). You can also participate in experiments via our Sona system.
