The California Invasive Plant Council Database has descriptions of invader plants from and into CSS.
Las Pilitas Nursery (Santa Margarita and Escondido, CA) has a list of commercially available plants that can grow in the CSS environment.
Native Plants of Montara Mountain (San Mateo County, CA). A large database of plant descriptions and photos. Many of the plants included are CSS inhabitants
Plants at the Torrey Pines State Reserve: Coastal Sage Scrub (Sand Diego, CA) has brief descriptions of communities as well.
Rare Plants of San Diego County has descriptions (no pictures) of many CSS inhabitants.
