Approximately 30 miles east of the City of
Los Angeles,
near the intersection of the
San
Bernardino Freeway (Interstate 10) and the
Orange Freeway
(State 57), on
the western edge of the city of
Pomona. It has a street/mailing

Unfortunately, the campus is split onto two pages. You also have to compare parts of the campus boundaries shown on the above photo with the Thomas Guide, particularly the part that borders on the City of Industry., (the Spadra Farm) since the Thomas Guide does not show the campus border for the southernmost part of the campus. |

feet. "The Cal Poly Pomona Campus has at least 500 feet of relief. The highest points are on the crests of narrow ridges on the northern border of the campus and have an elevation of about 1,140 feet. The lowest point is where South San Jose Creek leaves the Spadra Farm*,  where the
elevation is about 630 feet."

The contour line interval is 20 feet for solid brown lines, with an interval of 10 feet for dashed lines . ____________________ *The "Spadra Farm" referred to above is the parcel of land that is not connected to the main campus (see photos right and above) next to the Lanterman Developmental Center. This parcel is the southernmost part of the campus, and usually not thought of as part of the campus by most people. The South San Jose Creek leaves the property roughly at the blue circle (right), or around this point on Flash Earth. The Thomas Guide: Los Angeles County Street Guide and Directory shows the course of the South San Jose Creek on page 640.
