Special Instructions for Books 24x7

To use Books 24x7, you must register for a free account. You can do so in one of two ways.

1. Once you've found a book in the library catalog that resides in the Books 24x7 database, click on the link that says, "New Books24x7 users must register here first".
   
   
   Once you've registered, you can come back to this record and click on "View the electronic version".
   
2. You can also register by first finding the Books 24x7 listing on the Databases page:
   
   
   
   From here, you will need to click on "Register here first".
   
   If you are off campus, you will need to connect to the Cal Poly Pomona VPN before initiating the registration process. However, once you have registered, you do not need to connect to the CPP VPN to use the database.
   
3. In both cases, you will need to click on "Register" button.
   
   
   
4. Register for Books 24x7 using your Cal Poly Pomona email. No other email address will work. When you click on the "I Agree" button at the bottom of this page, a password will be sent to your Cal Poly Pomona email. After you use it to login, you can change the password.
