The purpose of this recruitment is to produce a pool of qualified applicants to call upon for technical needs as required. Please indicate on the application under "Position Applied For" the classification for which you wish to be considered.
Analyst/Programmer: Provides analysis, designing, modification, installation, and maintenance of application programs, integrated systems, or software solutions including databases; modifies existing software applications and database systems or creates new ones using an in-depth knowledge of engineering or programming techniques.
Equipment Systems Specialist: Provides technical system support and capabilities, including the installation, maintenance, modification and repair of equipment, products, and/or systems.
Information Technology Consultant: Provides direct consultative support and training to students, staff, and faculty on information technology-based systems primarily in the areas of applications software, multimedia, database resources, and network support but may include a moderate degree of hardware consultation and support.
Instructional Support Assistant: Performs support services for an instructional program by providing materials, supplies, equipment, and related logistical support to lecture, laboratory, research, and other instructional activities for a few courses with similar needs.
Instructional Support Technician: Performs comprehensive support services for providing materials, supplies, equipment, and related logistical support to a variety of upper and lower division laboratory courses in one or several disciplines having varying needs and requiring support involving technical and non-technical equipment, material, and supplies.
Research Technician: Gathers, compiles, and analyzes research data; develops tabulation and coding procedures.
