Brief Bio and Vitae
Jae Min Jung, Ph.D.


Dr. Jung's main research and teaching interest have been International Marketing, Salesforce control, and Marketing Ethics. More specifically he has researched on the impact of cultural values on cognition, affect, and persuasion in such contexts as advertising, retailing, and sales. He also has done works in such managerial issues as marketing ethics and salesforce management in international marketing perspectives. 

Dr. Jung's works have appeared at the International Marketing Review, Journal of Business Research, Journal of Personal Selling and Sales Management, Psychology and Marketing, and a number of conference proceedings.  Dr. Jung also presented his research at many national and international conferences such as American Marketing Association, Association for Consumer Research, Society for Consumer Psychology, and Cross-cultural Research Conference, and La Londe Seminar. He received Best paper award in Marketing and Society track at 2002 Summer American Marketing Association Educator’s Conference. Dr. Jung serves on the editoiral review board at the Journal of Business Research, on the Abstracts Editorial Board at the Journal of Personal Selling and Sales Management, and he reviews papers for many other journals and conferences. He was a fellow of John T. Lyle Center for Regenerative Studies at Cal Poly Pomona in 2008-2009 for sustainability research..

Prior to coming to Cal Poly Pomona, Dr. Jung taught at the North Dakota State University and at the University of Cincinnati. Dr. Jung received his Ph.D. from University of Cincinnati and his MBA from University of North Texas.  Prior to joining Academia, Dr. Jung had worked at Hankook Tire Co., a multinational company, in which he was involved in streamlining supply chain management.
