• Open the "senate.sav” file.
• Click on “Graphs,” "Legacy Dialogs," and “Histogram...”
• Click "Reset."
• In left window, select “dwnom” and drag and drop it into the first window on the right.
• Check the box next to "Display normal curve."
• Click on the “Titles" tab; under "Title," type "Figure 2: Distribution of Ideology in the American Senate"; under "Footnote" type

• Click on "Continue" and "OK."
