• Open “gsscums.sav” file.
• In the toolbar, click on "Data" and on "Weight Cases..."; click on ""Weight cases by"; in the left window, select "weight" and click on the right arrow; click on "OK."
• Click on “Graphs,” "Legacy Dialogs," and “Line...”
• Click on "Simple," "Summaries for groups of cases," and "Define."
• Click on "Other Statistic (e.g., mean)."
• In left window, select “news” and drag and drop it into the first window on the right.
• In left window, select “year” and drag and drop it into the second window on the right.
• Click on the “Titles" tab; under "Title," type "Figure 1: Percent Reading Newspaper Daily "; under "Footnote" type
  "Source: Based on data from General Social Survey cumulative file, 1972-2010 ".
• Click on "Continue" and "OK."
