• Open “states.sav” file.
• Click on “Analyze,” “Descriptive Statistics,” and “Crosstabs….”
• In left window, select “region” and click on the top right arrow next to “Row(s):.”
• In left window, select “leg” and click on the second right arrow next to “Column(s):.”
• Click on “Cells”; under “Percentages,” select “Column”; click on “Continue” and “OK.”
